The Namunyak Earrings are large, bold hoops handbeaded by Maasai women in the full spectrum of their tradition — red, yellow, orange, green, white, black, and blue spiralling outward in concentric rings, each one anchored by a cowrie shell at the centre. Namunyak means the lucky one, the blessed one — a name given to those who carry light wherever they go.
